Meet Nancy
Nancy Temples
Hi, my name is Nancy, and I am the Founder of North Pocono Yoga. A Welcoming Studio for Everyone. You will find a warm and welcoming space when you walk through the door.
I have had a love for yoga and meditation for most of my life. I worked in the business world for most of my career and would find I would always turn to Yoga and meditation in difficult times. My journey lead me to participate in a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program with Akasha Yoga Academy, Ubud, Bali and then to open a Yoga Studio! I am a RYT-200 Certified Yoga Instructor registered with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a Reiki Master and a Crystal Reiki Practitioner. I also hold a certificate in Yoga Nidra.
I teach Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation and Breathwork Classes. All my classes are for you to meet yourself on the mat, love who you are, right where you are, now. My classes are for de stressing, relaxing and a place for you to find yourself. Everyone is welcome and will feel comfortable and at home. I look forward to meeting you on the Mat.
I will always be a lifetime student of Yoga and I am currently continuing my studies with Akasha Yoga Academy working toward my RYT-500.
Namaste
Meet Nicole
Nicole Kreidler
I attended my first yoga class in August 2015. I attended that class because it was time -- time to accept my current lifestyle choices weren't benefiting me. I was out shape, over anxious, and stuck in a loop of bad decisions. Just kind of existing, not living.
With a consistent studio practice, I found strength. I found calm. I found a community. I found I can put in the work and achieve results. I also found that my idea of results weren't always attainable as quickly as I thought. I learned to be OK with that.
I began my Yoga Teacher Training in June 2016 with INFINITY lead by Chelsea Manganaro and Mara Morell. It was one of my favorite times in my adult life. I originally took the training to further my own practice. Instead, I began teaching right before my graduation and certification in Jan 2017.
I had to teach others what I learned. I needed everyone to have fun. Yoga is fun, you see results quickly. Yoga will get you strong fast. I want you know how your body works. I want you able to support your own bodyweight so you can get up after a fall. I want you to have enough mobility to get up and down off the floor to continue to play with kittens, puppies, grandchildren, your garden or whatever.
You learn a lot about yourself by practicing yoga -- mentally, physically, spiritually. My classes are designed to be both accessible and challenging. You will be fine if you are attending your first class or your 999th class.
I'm honored to be allowed to lead you.

New Paragraph
Christine Is a Certified Immunization Pharmacy Technician. Although, working in medical most of her life, she had a passion for Yoga and Fitness. Formally a Zumba instructor, she is a cancer who loves dance, painting, drawing, photography, hiking, nature and is also a musician. Her passion for Yoga really turned into her spiritual journey when she fell very ill while residing in Maine. After moving further into her journey, she started to meditate consistently. Her practice became more diverse, as she became fascinated with studying various types of Yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance and Reiki in Maine. Her mind and body started to heal, and her passion became prevalent. Not only healing her physical illness, but also healing trauma. She realized she wanted to help others heal through sound healing, Reiki, Yoga, and Yogi Principles. She received her 200 HR CYT through Nancy Kearon’s Sharing Living Yoga School in 2024. She is looking forward to obtaining her Sound Healing Certificate in the near future, and aspires to learn the Harmonium. Although, she loves Vinyasa and Yin, she would like to offer Restorative healing classes to fellow survivors. She is also working on a dance yoga class. She has a thirst for knowledge, therefore reads a vast number of books. She will most likely be found wearing bright colored, or tie dye apparel, with crystals in her pockets.
She lives by the thought process of, “IF you be kind to yourself and others, your energy will change so apparently others will be inquisitive with your practice.” She is a strong believer that your thought processes, stress, and past trauma have a large impact on your physical and mental illnesses. Her thought is the mind and body practices are complementary health approaches that focus on facilitating brain-behavior connections, which aim to promote health and well-being by enhancing the ability of the mind to regulate our physical bodies for optimal daily functioning. Among many mind-body practices, Yoga is a specific type of practice that incorporates meditation into the execution of movement routines through Asanas and shapes, to improve body balance, stretch the fascia net, promote flexibility, and strength of the muscular structures. With the emphasis based on everything starting with the breath, it emphasizes the coordination between breathing, bodily sensation awareness, and bodily movement execution. She does have an Instagram and is currently working on a website to offer online and private sessions.
